Great Ways to Sabotage a Good Conversation
Most of us unintentionally acquire a variety of bad
linguistic habits as we grow. In my clinical work over the last 33 years,
I've observed that a large percentage of arguments can be traced to the
unwitting use of one or more "language traps." Each of the book's 9
brief chapters uses examples drawn from syndicated cartoon strips such as
Zits®, Baby Blues® and Foxtrot® to
illustrate some of these language traps. Then you'll learn simple, easy
ways to avoid each trap. Who would have thought that improving
relationships could be this much fun?
For a limited time, make a $5.00 tax deductible donation

The Hypnotic Use of
Waking Dreams: Exploring Near-Death
Experiences Without the Flatlines
For more than a quarter century, a number of authors have
written about the profound consequences that routinely occur for those who
have had a near-death experience (NDE). However, as one writer put it: ".
. . it would be quite helpful if we each personally had an NDE, but after
an extensive study of NDEs, I don’t recommend that. The ‘near’ part of an
NDE is too tricky! Most people who come that near to death do not give us
an interesting report of what happened afterwards; they get buried!"
What if you could have a near-death experience without any risk to your
body’s well-being? For 24 years I have used hypnosis to help
clients have "waking dreams." These interactive dreams, in which the
person is always someone else, enable the person to safely experience many of the
phenomena associated with a true near-death experience, without any of
the life-threatening risks. The varied case studies in the book, together
with extensive transcripts of actual waking dreams, demonstrate a variety
of ways that I have used them to help people resolve problems ranging from
the specific to the existential. |
